Welcome to Middle Georgia State College!

This new institution, the result of the recent consolidation of Macon State College and Middle Georgia College, is an exciting and unique part of the University System of Georgia. With five campuses, no other college has the reach that we do in this region. Our growth potential is excellent, especially in Warner Robins and Dublin. In Eastman, we have the only state-funded aviation school in Georgia. Our Cochran Campus serves residential and commuting students and is home to the excellent Georgia Academy for Mathematics, Engineering and Sciences (GAMES). The Macon Campus, which also serves residential and commuting students, continues to enhance student life and will soon add a beautiful recreation and wellness center.

As Middle Georgia State College, we are building on the best attributes of the two former institutions to find new and creative ways to attract students and make sure they are successful as they pursue their academic goals. We are on track to become a university within a few years, a step that will give us even greater opportunities to serve Middle Georgia and beyond.
