Disability Services, part of the Office of Student Affairs, supports the mission of the College and the retention, progression, and graduation of a diverse student body by providing services for students with disabilities to meet federal guidelines and the complex needs of students with special needs.

Information shared with disability service providers will be kept confidential. Information and records will not be shared with anyone without permission from the student.

Each semester the student must contact the DSS and ask that their academic accommodations be sent to their instructors. it is strongly advised that students make these requests during the first week of the new semester.

It is also during this time that students should make an appointment to review and update their documentation for disability assistance.

Paperwork such as IEP's, 504 plans, and psychological evaluations over three years old are used as guides and may not be accepted as valid forms of disability documentation at the university level. Please consult with the Office of Disability Services and this website to establish proper documentation.
