CLOSE Cochran Campus Hosts "Paint the Knights" Fun Run

The region's most colorful road race will take place beginning at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, April 12, on the Cochran Campus of Middle Georgia State College.

"Paint the Knights" 5K Fun Run, open to MGSC students, faculty, staff and the general public, is a project of the Student Government Association and the Student Life office to strengthen ties between the college and the community. The race begins and ends on the Cochran Campus and the route takes runners through a portion of town. During the race, runners will be blasted with a safe and eco-friendly combo of dyes and so cross the finish line looking considerably more colorful than when they began.

Entry fees are $10 for students who live on campus, $15 for all other students and kids, and $20 for everyone else. Funds raised through "Paint the Knights" will benefit Cochran/ Bleckley Communities in Schools, whose mission is "to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life."
