CLOSE Writing Center Hosts Writing Marathon On Cochran Campus

How do you become a better writer? By writing, of course!

The Middle Georgia State College Writing Center is sponsoring a "Writing Marathon" for students from 9:30 a.m. to noon, Friday, March 21, at the Cochran Campus. The marathon will begin in the Writing Center (Roberts Library G-19) and move to different locations around the Cochran Campus.

The marathon is designed to be a positive experience to celebrate writing. There are three rules:

1.       You have to write.
2.       You have to share.
3.       No one can say anything except “thanks for sharing” each time someone reads.

Bring your own pens, pencils and paper. Questions? Contact Lisa Bro or Shane Trayers at lisa.bro@mga.edu or shane.trayers@mga.edu.
