Advisory Council
The Advisory Council of the School of Business is comprised of members from local businesses and organizations throughout the middle Georgia region. The purpose of the Advisory Council is to represent local industry stakeholders’ interests so that the School of Business produces graduates who effectively meet the demands of today’s job market to support the growth and prosperity of the region. Advisory Council meetings with the School of Business Dean and Associate Dean provide feedback that will help shape the mission, program goals and curriculum of the School of Business. Advisory Council members also have opportunities to interact with School of Business students serving as mentors, guest speakers or judges for events such as the annual Business Plan competition and they provide support for student-centered events such as the Graduate Recognition Dinner.
