Alumni Services

Graduates of MGA are welcome to schedule a phone or in-person appointment with a career advisor. Career Advisors can discuss career transitions, graduate programs, job search tips, salary negotiations, resume and cover letter reviews, social media branding, and other career-related topics.


MGA alumni are encouraged to create an account in Handshake to access thousands of regional and national employers.  In addition to a database of active job and internship listings, job seekers can use Handshake to research employers, access career development handouts, and get information on MGA career fairs and events.  Handshake is the number one job search tool used by college career centers across the country, so be sure to take advantage of this resource.

Career Assessments
Whether you've just graduated or you're changing careers, you might benefit from taking a career assessment and discussing career options with a career advisor.  Alumni can also explore various career options and gain insight into their career-related preferences by taking a career assessment.  Simply contact the MGA Center for Career & Leadership Development at   for more information on assessments available to you and to schedule a time to discuss your results.

Career Fairs and Networking Events
All career fairs and other employer networking events are open to current students and MGA alumni. Access the career fair calendar on Handshake to research companies and graduate programs visiting campus.  Alumni can also attend the annual Statewide Career Fair in Atlanta hosted by the Georgia Association of Colleges and Employers.  For additional networking opportunities, alums are invited to connect to the Office of Alumni Services.
