Career Assessments

Career assessments are tools that are designed to help individuals understand how a variety of personal attributes (i.e., interests, values, preferences, motivations, aptitudes and skills) impact their potential success and satisfaction with different career options and work environments. An assessment can help you to:

  • learn more about yourself
  • plan short-term and long-term career development goals
  • gain confidence concerning your educational needs and desires
  • explore career options more closely aligned with your purpose/mission
  • save time and money by getting accurate career information before choosing degree programs

All MGA students and alumni are invited to utilize TruTalent Personality. Access this free resource by visiting access key: WFV44LJ. Create your account, then receive information on majors and careers that match your personality. After receiving your results you may also view salary and required skills specific to proposed career options. For additional assessments, we recommend using the ONET Interest Profiler.  Once done, contact us to schedule a career advising session!

Students are encouraged to use additional resources such as the Occupational Outlook Handbook, ONET, and "What Can I Do with this Major?" to learn about occupational clusters and careers.
