Graduate/Professional School

Deciding to attend a graduate or professional school is a big decision. Keep in mind that MGA has added several graduate programs and offers information sessions through the Office of Graduate Studies each semester. Below are several resource that may assist you in preparing for this new experience.

Request a Presentation

The Center for Career and Leadership Development is available for classroom and student organization presentations.  Please make your request at least 4 - 6 weeks prior to your planned date so that we can ensure that a staff member is available.  We have career advisors who can present in person as well as present virtually.

Student organizations and academic departments are also encouraged to partner with us on programs that we traditionally plan each semester such as our career fairs, resume review days, employer mock interview events, and more. Click Here to Request A Presentation

The Professional Closet

For the safety of students and our staff, the Professional Closets on the Macon and Cochran campuses will be closed until further notice.  We encourage you to talk with our staff about other economical professional attire options that you can find online or in local stores.  We know how to find a bargain!

Professional Headshots

This fall, we ask that students schedule an appointment for their professional headshots in Macon or Cochran.  We will open these appointment options in Handshake after September 1.

Students and alumni may receive a professional headshot at no charge to use for their LinkedIn and Handshake profiles.  Students and alumni may also find these headshots useful for LinkedIn, their Handshake profile, portfolios, email accounts, and other virtual tools they use in the professional world.  Check the appointment options in Handshake at mga.joinhandshake.com to schedule this fall.  We will also host two Professional Headshot Days on October 6 (Macon - SLC 261) and October 7 (Cochran - location TBA) where students will be able to schedule a time for a photo throughout the day. We will have a socially distanced waiting area available for students on those days.
