Engaging Students with Turnitin.com

Presented by Dr. Nate Gilbert

February 22, 2018

Many instructors are familiar with turnitin.com as a plagiarism checker/deterrent, but it also contains a variety of other features that encourage students to engage in more effective composing processes. I will share how I use turnitin.com to create assignments that involve multiple draft submissions; that show how to identify and fix plagiarism problems; that facilitate peer review; and that allow for online, paperless grading. Interested attendees will also receive help on how to set up classes and assignments in turnitin.com.
