The Math Academic Resource Center is seeking candidates for the position of Student Tutor.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Conduct academic tutoring in various settings: online, face-to-face, one-on-one, and in groups
• Assist with computer programs and tutorials as needed
• Participate in tutor certification training as part of the position’s requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be enrolled in 6 credit hours per semester at MGA
• Achieved A’s or B’s in courses requested to tutor
• Tutoring students from Algebra up through Calculus 2 and Statistics (required)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Academic tutoring experience is desired, but not required.
• Current GPA of 3.00 or higher.
