Description:

This position is responsible for 1) recruiting for special populations of students, including commuter and residential dual enrollment, transfer, and adult learners, 2) recruiting for other identified populations as needed 3) providing admissions assistance to all students on the Warner Robins Campus

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies for the dual enrollment program, both commuter and residential

• Develop and maintain external relationships with high school guidance counselors, Board of Education administrators, and corporate/civic organizations

• Develop and maintain external relationships with other higher education partners in order to support recruitment through articulation agreements

• Collaborate on the development and maintenance of recruitment communication plan for identified populations, to include high school dual-enrollment initiatives

• Collaborate with the Office of Marketing and Communications on the development and maintenance of a marketing plan to support recruitment of special populations

• Develop and maintain program data and recruitment reports

• Lead recruiting and admissions efforts on designated campus to support enrollment growth

• Collaborate with the Executive Director of Military and Veterans to support veteran and military recruitment

• Cross-train other recruitment/admissions staff on recruitment of assigned special populations

• Perform related duties and/or special projects as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications or related field

• 2 years of related experience in recruiting or sales

• Territory management experience

• Experience with potential college students and parents

• Ability to make strong presentations to groups of prospective students and parents

• Willing to travel within an assigned recruitment territory and some overnight stays along with occasional weekend work days

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include a command of grammar and spelling

• Ability to work with diverse populations and provide exceptional customer service

• Organized and detail-oriented

• Self-directed and able to make decisions independently

• Demonstrated ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated

• Must have a reliable motor vehicle

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with the Georgia Student Finance Commission and knowledge of GACollege411.website

• Previous experience in higher education

• 2 - 3 years' experience with Banner

• Relationship management experience with high school counselors, Boards of Education, and community organizations

SALARY: Pay Grade 16.
