Description:

Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Professor of Biology for the school of Arts and sciences in the Department of Natural Sciences to begin Fall 2018. This position involves teaching, scholarship, and service. Teaching responsibilities may include day and/or evening, lower level and/or upper level Biology courses. One position is available on the Macon campus. Travel to satellite campuses (Warner Robins) may be required.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates should have a PhD in a biological science or related area, with special attention given to the following areas of expertise: virology or anatomy and physiology. Candidates who will be awarded their PhD by August 1, 2018 will be considered.

Candidates must have a record of teaching and the potential for scholarship that warrants appointment at the rank of assistant professor. Candidates selected for employment will be subject to a background check.
