Middle Georgia State University (MGA) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Sociology (with an open area of specialization) to begin in Fall 2018. This position involves teaching a 4/4 course load, scholarship, student advisement, and service. Travel among our campuses is expected.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must hold a PhD in Sociology (ABD considered as long as degree is conferred by August 2018) and is able to teach a variety of Sociology courses, which are very popular among our students. Teaching responsibilities will include day and/or evening classes, online and/or hybrid courses. Experience with online and/or hybrid delivery will be a plus.
