Job Summary: Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for a Federal Work Study position at the Warner Robins Campus Library. 


  • Must be detail oriented when performing job duties, especially shelving, shelf reading and charging and discharging materials
  • Must be dependable and reliable
  • Ability to handle the public with courtesy
  • Must be comfortable using technology and have excellent computer skills
  • Must be able to type and know how to log in and use MGA email, SWORDS, Brightspace/D2, and Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word)
  • Physical agility including the ability to reach, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Assists the library staff with other duties as assigned 


  • Must have GPA of at least 2.5. 
  • Must be a current enrolled MGA student.
  • Must be enrolled in 6 or more semester hours per semester
  • Knowledge of University policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs
  • Professional oral and written communication skills
