JOB SUMMARY: The Office of the Registrar is seeking a student for a Federal Work Study position. The student will work closely with Registrar staff and MGA students assisting with daily clerical and graduation tasks. The student will have the ability to navigate and abide by MGA institutional polices.  Student will report directly to the  Assistant Registrar on campus.

MAJOR DUTIES:

  • Scan, file, copy, mail, shred, and retrieve documents as required by the Office of the Registrar staff.
  • Assist students, alumni, and other MGA patrons at the front counter as necessary.
  • Maintain acceptable and professional quality phone service and productivity performance.
  • Maintain FERPA compliance.
  • Performs graduation duties as assigned by the Graduation Coordinator including preparation for the graduation ceremony and post-graduation tasks. 

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite with an aptitude to learn imaging systems.
  • Professional and effective oral and written communication skills that align with excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a diverse population.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at MGA
  • Must be able to work up to 16 hours each week
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
  • Must comply with strict confidentiality of information
  • Priority given to student applicants who successfully exited Learning Support courses
