JOB SUMMARY: Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for the position, to provide a welcoming, informative, comprehensive, and high quality campus visit experience for all visitors to MGA. The Knight Ambassadors will provide campus visitors with a positive and accurate representation of what MGA has to offer as a university community. Knight Ambassadors should show a strong commitment to MGA and are expected to regard their job as a professional position. 

MAJOR DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Orientation, the Knight Ambassadors will have a wide array of responsibilities that include:

• Presentation skills are a must
• Lead regular campus walking tours for visitors to the university
• Assist in making calls to prospective students
• Keep current with campus and community news and events
• Assist at Orientation events, Open House events, and various other Admission events
• Assist Recruitment staff with data entry
• Assist with social media 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Must be a current enrolled MGA student.
• Must be enrolled in 6 or more semester hours per semester.
• Must have a GPA of 2.0 or greater.
• Strong commitment to public service.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member. 

COMPENSATION CLASSIFICATION: 

• Non-exempt, hourly, bi-weekly paid
• Student (part-time)
