JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: MGA’s primary mission is teaching. Courses are delivered in face-to-face, online, hybrid, and video-conference formats. The School offers a Bachelor of Science in Business degree and a Master of Science in Management degree. The successful candidate will:

• Provide excellent teaching to undergraduate students in a variety of delivery formats, primarily centered on the University’s Cochran and Dublin campuses.

• Engage in service to the School, University, and community.

• The opportunity to participate in research activities will be available.


• Possess an earned Master’s Degree in a Business related field, with at least 18 graduate hours in a combination of Management and Marketing, from a regionally accredited institution

• Demonstrated teaching excellence.

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Prior teaching experience; industry experience is a plus.

• Experience with online, hybrid, and/or other alternative delivery formats is preferred.

SALARY: Salary will be commensurate with rank and experience.

About the School of Business at Middle Georgia State University: The Mission of the School of Business is to provide high quality undergraduate business programs targeted primarily to meet Central Georgia workforce needs. The School focuses on effective teaching and student learning for a diverse student population.
