DESCRIPTION: The Quality Assurance Coordinator is an integral representative of the School of IT who assists the School leadership with strategic planning. Like all positions throughout the University, the Quality Assurance Coordinator supports; and is an important component of the cohesive team of students, faculty, and staff serving the educational mission of the School of IT and the Institution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with the Dean/Associate Dean/Designated Faculty Coordinator(s) to monitor the quality assurance of the curriculum

• Works with the Dean/Associate Dean/Designated Faculty Coordinator(s) to ensure compliance with ABET accreditation and NSA/DHS CAE designation requirements

• Works with the Dean/Associate Dean/Designated Faculty Coordinator(s) to monitor quality assurance of the online courses

• Works with the Dean/Associate Dean/Designated Faculty Coordinator(s) to ensure coordination of School activities including monitoring student advising for quality assurance and control

• Actively seeks initiatives to assist in recruiting students for fully online programs

• Works with the Dean/Associate Dean/Designated Faculty Coordinators(s) in fulfilling School’s goals

• Maintains confidentiality and discretion regarding Schools business and files

• Assists the Professional Advisor with student advising as needed

• And other duties assigned by the Dean/Associate Dean

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in IT, Business or related areas is required, a master's degree is preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years administrative experience.

• Skilled in organization and coordination of complex projects

• Technical skills in the following or equivalent software packages: Microsoft Office Suite, Banner and PeopleSoft

• Ability to work independently

• Demonstrated commitment to cultural diversity and ability to work with individuals or groups with diverse backgrounds

SALARY: Pay Grade 19
