Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for a Federal Work Study student position for the Office of the Associate Provost for the Dublin Campus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Helps with answering phones, making copies, dropping off/picking up mail, and assisting any student, faculty, or member of the public.
  • Takes detailed messages and forward questions to appropriate university offices
  • Assists the Dublin Campus directors with other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Candidate must be able to work during the hours of 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. M-Th in July and during the hours of 11 a.m.- 6 p.m. July 30th through September 28th. All hours worked after Septemeber 28th will be determined by supervisor. Must have GPA of at least 2.5. Knowledge and skills required by the position include: knowledge of customer service principles and practices; knowledge of computers and job-related software programs; ability to learn phone system and forwarding methods; and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
