Semester in Siena

This semester-long program, offered in cooperation with Georgia Southern University, gives students the opportunity to take a full course load while benefiting from a 12-week immersion in Italian culture. Based at the Dante Alighieri Institute in Siena, Italy, the program brings Italian and Georgia faculty together for a comprehensive, intercultural learning experience.

Dates: January 14-April 15, 2019

Cost: $5600 covers lodging (double-occupancy apartments with full kitchens), health insurance, three day trips to Florence (including transportation and entrance fees), entrance fees and guided tours of local sites in Siena, afternoon and weekend activities, two excursions in Tuscany with food tastings, seven hands-on cooking classes with four-course meals, a welcome dinner, and a farewell dinner. Note that this program cost does not include tuition (paid separately to MGA) and does not include airfare, which students arrange individually.
