Marc Martel will appear for a One Night Only performance at Middle Georgia State University on Friday, August 17. Marc’s voice along with star Rami Malek’s and Queen frontman Freddie Mercury’s are featured in the forthcoming Queen biopic movie, Bohemian Rhapsody, set to be released later this year.

For the starring role, Rami Malek transformed his appearance and received extensive dance coaching; however, he could not recreate Mercury’s voice. Most singing scenes in the movie rely on either vocal stems from Queen master tapes or new recordings by Marc Martel, a Canadian Christian rock singer whose voice is practically identical to the late frontman’s. “Literally, you could close your eyes and it’s Freddie,” says film producer Graham King of Martel “And that’s a very tough thing to do.”
