Active Shooter Research

On December 3, 2016, Professor Michael Barry of the Health Services Administration department presented “Active Shooter Exercises in Skilled Nursing Facilities” at the annual American College Healthcare Administrators national conference in Las Vegas. The presentation was based upon a successful exercise held at Bolingreen Health & Rehabilitation in Macon.

ACHCA Student Presentation Award

MGA Health Administration students Savannah Echols and Andor Williams were awarded first place at the American College of Health Care Administrators” 50th Annual Convocation & Exposition for their research presentation entitled “Food Borne Illness Prevention in a Skilled Nursing Facility.” The pair were sponsored by Bolingreen Health and Rehabilitation and adjunct Professor Mike Barry.
