Middle Georgia State's Eastman Campus, home of the School of Aviation, is hosting an open house Tuesday, July 9, for those interested in enrolling in Aircraft Structural Technology programs.

The open house is scheduled for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Eastman Campus, 71 Airport Road, Eastman. (Directions: https://www.mga.edu/about/maps.php.)

The Eastman Campus offers programs that provide aircraft structural theory and hands-on training in aircraft structural maintenance and repair: associate of applied science (2-year program) and certificate (1-year program).

Georgia is home to several nationally recognized aviation companies that manufacture new aircraft or repair older aircraft. The Eastman Campus's job placement rate for AST graduates is 96 percent.

Prospective students who plan to attend the open house are encouraged to complete a 2013-2014 FAFSA beforehand: www.mga.edu/financial-aid.

Fall classes begin August 19. Student housing is available on the Eastman and Cochran campuses.
