Knights Set For NCFA Championship Game

The Knights football club will play Coppin State University for the National Club Football Association (NCFA) championship at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, in Salem, Va.

Middle Georgia State finished the regular season 10-0 and No. 1 in NCFA rankings. The Knights won the NCFA's South Atlantic Conference championship game 26-24 over OC Tech on November 23.

No. 2 Coppin State is the defending NCFA champ and finished the 2013 regular season with an 8-2 record. The Eagles beat George Mason University 40-3 on November 23 for the NCFA's Mid Atlantic Conference championship.

The Knights have averaged 36.6 points per game on offense while only giving up 9.5 points per game on defense. The Eagles have averaged 20.2 points per game on offense while giving up 10.6 points per game on defense.
