She chose Middle Georgia State because … "To be honest, it is close to home. When I
came in to talk to someone about enrolling I felt completely at home and comfortable. I enjoy everything about Middle Georgia State College, I wouldn’t go anywhere else."

The one thing about Middle Georgia State that surprised her was ... "No matter how busy staff members are they are always willing to answer your questions. Even if they can’t, they are willing to help you find out who you need to talk to. The general friendliness and concern for every student is a wonderful experience."

Her favorite professor is ... "This is my third semester and out of all of my professors I would have to say Dr. Laurie Walters is my favorite. She makes psychology class fun. She is always positive and gives the students a lot of respect."

One thing that people don’t know about her is ... "I love playing and being on the receiving end of practical jokes. I believe laughter is good for the soul. Another thing people don’t know about me is that I love dogs, especially Dachshunds. I have three."

Her favorite place to study is ... "The campus library. The staff are always very friendly and
willing to help when you need it. Also the Student Center, because I can eat as I am studying."

Her friends make fun of her because … "They say I am OCD. Only because I have to have everything in its right place. Everything has to be organized. My motto is 'Cleanliness is next to Godliness.'"

The one person she'd most like to meet is ... "Florence Nightingale was known as the founder of nursing. To me it would be amazing to get to know her and see firsthand how nursing was developed.

Five years from now she sees herself ... "Working at either the VA Hospital or in home healthcare."
