The National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association (NJCAA) released its list of student-athletes across the nation who achieved a GPA of 3.60 or higher for their academic career while also competing in athletics. Five Middle Georgia State College Knights earned spots on the list for 2013-14.

The student-athletes all received the Exemplary Academic Achievement Award from the NJCAA for having a GPA between 3.60 and 3.79 and more than 45 hours for their college career:

Victoria Cauley, Gray, GA, Women's Tennis, 3.62
Caitlin Greer, Milan, GA, Softball, 3.72
Matthew Kuhlenberg, Midland, GA, Baseball, 3.72

Daniel Ramirez, Miami, FL, Men's Soccer, 3.65

In addition to the individuals, the Knights softball team received a nomination for the All-Academic Team. The combined GPA for the team this year was 3.01.
