Whitfield Joins MGA As Campus Director

Henry C. Whitfield has joined Middle Georgia State College as director for the Cochran and Eastman campuses. He is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of both campuses and serving as a liaison between the institution and the community.

Whitfield was most recently director of Georgia Southern University’s Coastal Georgia Center in Savannah. He also served as the interim assistant dean for Continuing Education and Public Service at Georgia Southern. Earlier in his career he worked with The Georgia Tech Economic Development Institute and BellSouth. At BellSouth, he was director of Corporate and External Affairs.

Whitfield holds a master of Business Administration from Mercer University and a bachelor's in Business Administration from what is now Georgia Southwestern State University.
