Spectators at this year’s Magnolia Soapbox Derby will get to see more than just one race, as organizers have added the All American Soapbox Derby Gravity Racing Challenge for high school STEM students.

“We have partnered with Middle Georgia State College and the Bibb County School System and have six to seven high school participants in a separate race,” said race co-chair Koryn Young, adding that the practice run starts at 10 a.m. followed by the race at 11 a.m.
