A student leader on the Cochran Campus, Charlita Wynn aspires to a health services administration career in the public sector.

Full Name: Charlita Latisha Wynn.

Age: 23.

Hometown: Albany.

Residence: Cochran.

Employment: Student Center assistant on the Cochran Campus.

Degree Objective: Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration.

Class Rank: Senior.

Primary Campuses: Cochran and Macon.

Activities: SGA senator, Cochran Campus; orientation team member.

Career Goals: “I look forward to working in a leadership position in a hospital or long-term care facility.”

She chose Middle Georgia State because … “The university is just the right size. After transferring from a bigger school this was just the environment I needed. I was able to focus better at Middle Georgia State.”

The one thing that surprised her about Middle Georgia State was … “How friendly and helpful the professors are. I have developed relationships with many of them and it has helped me to succeed.”

Her favorite professor is … “Carolyn Stuart. She was my professor for math modeling and statistics. Anyone who knows me can tell you that math has not always been my best subject. She gave me a new outlook on math and learning. I thank her for that.”

Her favorite place to study is … “The study rooms on the third floor of the Cochran Campus library.”

One thing people don’t know about her is … “I can sing!”

Her friends make fun of her because … “I have an old soul. They call me grandma.”

The one person she’d most like to meet is … Madam C.J Walker. (Walker was an African American entrepreneur and philanthropist, and the first female self-made millionaire in America. She made her fortune by developing and marketing a line of beauty and hair products for African American women.)

Five years from now she sees herself … “Working on my career, married and raising a family.”
