MGA's Spring Garden Symposium Focuses on "Georgia's Beauty: Past, Present and Future"

"Georgia's Beauty: Past, Present and Future" is the theme of the 2018 Spring Garden Symposium, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 24, hosted by the Waddell Barnes Botanical Gardens at Middle Georgia State University (MGA).

The event begins at 8:30 a.m. on the first floor of the Professional Sciences Building on Middle Georgia State's Macon Campus. (Enter through the Jones Building.)

Breakout sessions include "The Future Is Wild: Overview of MGA Research,"  "Georgia’s Wild Gardens," and  "Attracting Birds to the Home Garden."  The $40 registration fee includes continental breakfast and buffet lunch. (Registration fee is $20 for Middle Georgia State faculty and staff; present valid ID at check-in.)
