Career Goals: “I plan on graduating in May of 2022 with Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. After graduation, I plan on traveling to Europe for the summer before starting the MAcc program at Kennesaw State University to pursue my CPA license. With this certification there comes an array of opportunities in the accounting field where I can balance work, travel, and life as well as starting my own business sometime in the future.”

She chose Middle Georgia State University because … “It gave me the opportunity to travel to some of the most beautiful places while still being on schedule to graduate with my degree. This University also taught me that the people you meet along the way, whether classmates, faculty, and staff, will always have an impact on your life.”

The greatest thing she discovered about Middle Georgia State University is … “The faculty and staff are awesome and exceptional. They want to push you to your full potential and prepare you for the real world. I enjoy driving to class knowing that my professors cultivate positive interactions among students. I am glad to be a Knight.”

Her greatest academic experience so far as a Middle Georgia State student has been … “Making the dean’s and president’s lists in my 3 ½ years at MGA. Another great experience is a ‘Meet the Firms’ event that the accounting association holds every fall semester. I got to meet accounting professionals and actually got multiple internship offers. I start my tax internship with one of the firms in Atlanta in January.”

To her, “greatness” means … “A way to measure the fulfillment of your passion and purpose. Greatness is defined differently by everyone. Achieving greatness to me is not about having something or earning a particular award, but more of what you do for the world and the amount of happiness you have in your life.”

In five years … “I hope to be a CPA working for a company as an internal auditor. I also hope to have traveled some of the places that I dreamed of traveling. I hope to have built the home that I always aspired to build and be surrounded by friends and family.”
