Daily Crime and Fire Logs

The Middle Georgia State University (MGA) Police Department maintains daily crime and fire logs to record criminal incidents and alleged criminal incidents that are reported to the Department as well as fire information that may involve on-campus student housing facilities. Crime log entries include all crimes reported to the campus police for the required geographical locations of MGA and not just Clery Act crimes. Daily Crime and Fire Log Reports include the date the crime was reported, the date and time the crime occurred, the nature of the crime, the general location of the crime, and the disposition of the complaint if known.

Crime and Fire Log Reports are available on-site at any MGA Police Department precinct and can be requested in person or by fax, e-mail, or telephone. No written request is required. The reports can be provided in hard copy or electronic format. The MGA Police Department strives to provide current, accurate, and relevant information to the campus community and those that desire to better educate themselves about data stored and maintained by the Department. Inquiries and requests for assistance are welcomed and will be accommodated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism.
