| Education: | Charlie Agnew attended Bluefield College (now Bluefield University) where he completed a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Soon thereafter, he completed a M.F.A. in Painting at the University of Memphis. After graduating and doing some part-time teaching at the University of Memphis, he taught at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee as a Visiting Professor of Art. |
| Professional Experience: | Charlie's artworks have recently appeared at the McEachern Art Center in Macon, Georgia, the 567 Center for Renewal in Macon, Georgia, the Macon Arts Alliance in Macon, Georgia, the Ampersand [&] Guild Hall in Macon, Georgia, Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, Middle Georgia State University in Cochran & Macon, Georgia, Georgia Perimeter College in Clarkson, Georgia, and Bluefield University in Virginia. His artistic skills include: Drawing, Painting, Photography, and Sculpture. |
| Organizations: | Charlie is a member of the MGA art gallery committee, which schedules exhibitions on both the Macon and Cochran campuses. Charlie represents the Department of Media, Culture, and the Arts on the Student Affairs Committee for 2019 - present and is also a member of the MGA Faculty Senate for 2022 - 2024. He is also currently the Treasurer of the Cochran-Bleckley Arts Alliance. |
