| Biography: | Dr. Christopher Hope is an information technology and cybersecurity educator, researcher, and practitioner whose work focuses on digital forensics, cybercrime, cybersecurity, and the application of artificial intelligence in criminal justice. He brings extensive academic and industry experience to his teaching, including cybersecurity program development, information security consulting, and technology leadership. His scholarly and professional interests center on the intersection of technology, cybersecurity, education, and criminal justice. His doctoral research examined the use of AI-powered systems to identify and investigate cybercrime and enhance cybersecurity capabilities in law enforcement. Dr. Hope has been recognized with the EC-Council Academia Circle of Excellence Award for his contributions to cybersecurity education and as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE). His professional engagement includes cybersecurity education, community outreach, research, podcasting, and collaboration with academic and industry professionals. He holds a Doctor of Science in Information Technology from Middle Georgia State University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology with a concentration in Cybercrime at Georgia Southern University. |
