Biography: Dr. Strong was a career special educator and administrator in the area of special education for many years and taught courses for graduate and undergraduate elementary and special education at several Universities in Virginia before coming to MGA. Her Ph.D. in Special Education and Disability Policy was earned at Virginia Commonwealth University. Her areas of interest include special education law and policy, special education teacher preparation, evidence-based practices for special educators, and teacher recruitment and retention.

Dr. Strong devoted many years to special education and had experience teaching students with disabilities in elementary, middle, and high school as well as serving in medium and very large school districts as the Director of Special Education.
