Building for our Future
For generations, Middle Georgia State has been preparing to take up the complex challenges that face our future generation. With only 25% of the region's population having attained an associate's degree or higher, enrolling in a university or succeeding in attaining a degree is unfamiliar to many. There is a need to have a team of experts in one place who can provide guidance for those wishing to obtain a degree. The Enrollment Center will serve students in the region as the enrollment hub for all five Middle Georgia State University campuses. Dedicated personnel will assist in making the transition to college as smooth as possible, guiding students through the enrollment process and on to a path of success. The Enrollment Center will be funded entirely by private donations. The Peyton Anderson Foundation has generously pledged half of the funding (1.5 million) needed to build the center.
Prospective students will be able to:
- Attend college-planning workshops through our collaboration with high school counselors
- Navigate the process of applying to college
- Apply for financial aid and learn about scholarship opportunities
- Consult with academic advisors
- Register for classes
- Explore professional career options and create a practical plan for success
Your gift will help ensure that students across the region and state will benefit for generations to come, and that Middle Georgia State will continue to remove barriers to an affordable university education.
