Special Assistant to the President

The Special Assistant to the President for Accreditation and Strategic Planning assists the President of Middle Georgia State University in the implementation of assigned programming to include serving as SACSCOC Liaison. The Special Assistant develops, coordinates, and implements a broad range of high-level projects aligned with institutional accreditation, institutional goals, the strategic plan, and President-initiated activities. This position serves as a member of the President’s Cabinet, is organizationally located within the Office of the President, and reports directly to the President.

Executive Director Marketing and Communications

The Marketing and Communications Executive Director at Middle Georgia State University develops, implements, and maintains the brand identity and brand voice of the university. This position is pivotal in shaping the overall strategy for the consistent branding of the university. The Executive Director leads and provides vision for the marketing and communications team responsible for developing marketing plans and messaging that aligns to the university’s mission, values, and strategic plan. Position serves as the senior advisor for brand development and awareness, enrollment marketing, strategic communications, and the utilization of multiple media platforms. Position serves on the President’s Cabinet and has a dotted line reporting relationship to the President.
