Honors Program Hosts Bullying Awareness Event

The Middle Georgia State College Honors Program is hosting a "Bullying Awareness" event from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 3, on the Macon Campus.

All sessions will take place in the Math Building auditorium. Here is the schedule:

12:30-2:30 p.m.: Screening and discussion of the 2011 documentary Bully. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1682181/

2:30-3:30 p.m.: Panel Discussion with Dr. Susan Durr of the MGSC Department of Psychology and Sociology; Cindy Harris, MGSC School of Education; and Michael Stewart, MGSC assistant vice president of Student Affairs.

3:30-4:00 p.m.: “Stomp Out Bullying,” a performance by Expressions Dance Company, Academy of Dance.
