Options for education are the School of Aviation at Middle Georgia State College in Eastman and Advanced ATC, an air traffic control academy at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College in Valdosta. The 12-month program offered by Advanced ATC combines technical training with hands-on learning at Valdosta Regional Airport Control Tower.
