French Film "La Haine" To Be Shown On Macon Campus

Middle Georgia State College will feature a screening of the French film "La Haine" (with subtitles) at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 18, in the Math Building auditorium on the Macon Campus. This event is free and open to the public. Jesse Klein, assistant professor of New Media/Film, will discuss upcoming study abroad opportunities in Paris for Middle Georgia State students. IMDB synopsis: After local youth Abdel is beaten unconscious by police, a riot ensues on his estate during which a policeman loses his gun. The gun is found by Vinz who threatens he will kill a cop if Abdel dies.
