Middle Georgia State Hosts “Cops Vs. Community” Panel Discussion

"Two Sides of the Same Issue: Cops vs. Community" will be the subject of a panel discussion sponsored by the Media, Culture and the Arts department at 6:30 p.m. Wed., Nov. 5, in the Arts Complex Theater,Middle Georgia State College Macon Campus.

Discussion will evolve around the media's portrayal of high profile cases such as Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown, community reaction, the criminal justice system and law enforcement.

Scheduled panelists are Bibb County Sheriff David Davis; Dr.Adria Goldman of Gordon State College; Dr. Michael McMorris of Middle Georgia State; and Charles Richardson, editorial page editor of the Telegraph.
