Saturday classes are coming to Middle Georgia State University's Warner Robins Campus in January 2018.

As part of an ongoing effort to accommodate busy students trying to juggle college and personal responsibilities, the Warner Robins Campus (WRC) is scheduling seven courses for spring semester 2018 that combine face-to-face Saturday meetings with online work. (www.mga.edu/saturday-course-schedule) Four classes will be offered during the 8-week first session of the semester that begins January 13; three more will be offered during the 8-week second session that begins March 10.

"We are test driving a format that is attractive for the working adult, still has a face-to-face component and offers some options for a shorter term," said Pella Murphy, WRC's director. "These classes give working adults some flexibility and a way to earn course credit in a relatively short amount of time."

The classes offered will either be partially online, meaning they will meet selected Saturdays but not each Saturday during the session, or hybrid, meaning the classes will meet every Saturday during the session. The rest of the coursework for both types of classes will take place online.
