Career Goals: “My career goals would be to acquire employment in my field of study either as a multimedia content creator, video editor, and/or social media manager. I want to work in these positions in the sports and/or film/tv industries, which would allow me to travel."

She chose Middle Georgia State University because … “It was a school that I was familiar with and one that would help me get closer to the career I’ve chosen. With the Media and Communication degree I can be that hands-on creative person I always knew I had in me. So choosing Middle Georgia State University fit perfectly into that goal – plus, it was close to home.”

The greatest thing she discovered about Middle Georgia State was … “How helpful most of my professors were when I needed assistance with an assignment or if I had a question about textbooks or materials before the classes started. Every professor I’ve encountered has made sure the students knew exactly what they would need to pass the class. They made the classes clear, concise, and understandable.

Her greatest academic experience as an MGA student has been … “Learning Adobe products like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and InDesign in some of the courses for the Media and Communication major. I was even able to utilize some Adobe products for a project in my astronomy class, which made it more fun than a simple PowerPoint.”

To her, greatness means … “Being true to who you are. You do not have to be this perfect person if you do your absolute best and are proud of the person you become. Greatness comes in many forms. Find out what you are great at and stick with it. If it takes you a long time to achieve the greatness you see in yourself just embrace it and live at your own pace.”

In five years … “I want to be working for a semi-pro, college, or national sports team in multimedia marketing and as an entrepreneur running my own creative agency, teaching others how to create and edit various marketing content.”
