Biography: Dr. Adrian Baker is an Assistant Professor in the Rehabilitation Science program at Middle Georgia State University. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2009 and achieved her Postural Restoration Certification (PRC) in 2013—an advanced credential focused on addressing movement and postural asymmetries through integrated neuromuscular, skeletal, and respiratory techniques.
Her professional interests include postural restoration, prosthetics, and teaching students how to effectively utilize today’s technologies in rehabilitation and fitness settings. Dr. Baker is committed to shaping the next generation of rehabilitation professionals by blending foundational clinical knowledge with emerging innovations, critical thinking, and real-world application. With over a decade of experience, she remains passionate about preparing future clinicians to deliver thoughtful, evidence-based care in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.

Professional Experience: I've been an Assistant Professor in the Rehabilitation Science program since January 2021. I am also a Licensed Physical Therapist and worked in the clinic full time for 11 years prior to coming to MGA.
