| Teaching and Research Interests: | I have been teaching at MGA since 2005 and I am excited to help my students see the connections between themselves and society. I regularly teach Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, Marriage and the Family, Community and Urban Sociology, Social Movements, Sociology of Education, and Social Stratification. My main areas of sociological research interest are: social inequality, demography, and the family. I also am interested in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) as it relates to improving the classroom experience for students. |
