2025 a landmark year for MGA and our Foundation

The year 2025 stands as one of the most thrilling milestones in the history of Middle Georgia State University (MGA), and our Foundation is central to this exciting momentum. As MGA continues to grow, we are proud that our Knights athletics program is advancing from the NAIA to NCAA Division II, with this transition becoming official on July 1! In addition, 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of MGA’s university status, a significant milestone that reflects the strength and excellence of our academic programs and graduate degrees.

We are also making substantial progress on the university’s 2023-28 strategic plan, which emphasizes student success, innovation, fiscal resilience, and enhancing the university’s brand value. Recently, our Foundation’s Board of Trustees, through an inclusive and thoughtful strategic planning process, aligned its focus with MGA’s five-year priorities to help strengthen our community impact and advance our shared goals.

As part of our commitment to growing MGA’s regional influence and ensuring its continued success, the Foundation is launching a comprehensive campaign feasibility study. In collaboration with Columns Fundraising, we will be conducting a series of interviews and surveys with key stakeholders to better understand how donors like you view the university’s mission and objectives.
