Office of University Marketing and Communications

With a diverse student body, innovative faculty, and exciting work being done in fields ranging from aerospace to new media, Middle Georgia State has an interesting story to tell, and we’re here to tell it.  The Office of Communications provides press relations services; coordinates releases to local, state and regional media; maintains the University’s social media accounts; oversees the top level pages of the MGA website; and provides communications services in the event of campus emergencies.

In addition to releasing information via local and social media, the Office of Communications manages multiple publications:

  • InsideMGA – A continuously-updated site with information of interest to the students and employees of Middle Georgia State
  • MGA Today – An annual magazine highlighting the students, employees, and academic offerings of MGA
  • Pressroom – A collection of news stories, published on the MGA website

Annual Reports:

  • MarComm Annual Report - An annual report summarizing the number of projects that both the Office of Communications and the Office of Marketing produce per year
  • President’s Annual Report - A synopsis of the University’s activity in the past year
