MGA mourns the passing of Malcolm Burgess, Jr.

Our community lost a dear business and philanthropic leader this month, who touched countless lives and organizations throughout our region.  For nearly three decades, Malcolm Burgess was a dedicated supporter of Middle Georgia State University—our students, our mission, and our vision.

His legacy lives in perpetuity through the Malcolm Burgess Academic Excellence Endowment which he established, a scholarship dedicated to helping students in health sciences, business, arts and sciences who face financial challenges.
