| Biography: | Because of my background in counseling, I approach teaching as a relational practice. I strive to build trusting, respectful relationships with students, encouraging them to bring their experiences and questions into the learning process. I incorporate counseling-informed strategies such as reflective activities, empathetic communication, and strength-based feedback to help students feel seen, motivated, and capable. My goal is for students not only to master course content, but also to enhance their emotional intelligence and self-efficacy. |

| Teaching and Research Interests: | My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that education is both an intellectual and personal process. As a psychology educator, I view the classroom as a space where students learn not only theories and research, but also develop self-awareness, critical thinking, and skills that prepare them to advocate for others. My work is informed by my training and interests in counseling, multicultural counseling, ethics, abnormal psychology, and the psychology of adjustment. These areas collectively shape how I design learning environments that are rigorous, inclusive, and growth-oriented. |
