Teaching and Research Interests: Dr. Bell-Corrales has taught Elementary and Intermediate Spanish courses as well as 3000 level courses required for the Minor such as Advance Grammar and Composition, Conversation and Spanish for Business. Dr. Bell-Corrales has designed some of those courses to be taught online. She also has taught in Study Abroad programs in Madrid, Spain in four occasions, recruiting MGA students as part of her duties and responsibilities.

Dr. Bell-Corrales has presented and publish papers in national and international conferences in topic related to Second Language Acquisition, and Spanish Linguistics, Philology, and more specifically Paremiology or analysis of proverbs and idiomatic expressions in the Spanish spoken in the northern coast of Colombia.
